You might’ve recently read about Woodfin’s move to the Scott’s Addition neighborhood of Richmond. One of the best parts of moving to this area is that it has such a rich history. To celebrate this history and help connect our company to it, we included in the summer 2016 edition of the Watchdog Report some fun facts about the origins of the name “Scott’s Addition.”

What we didn’t mention in that newsletter article is that our recently renovated headquarters is actually home to one of the oldest working freight elevators in Richmond. Click on the image below to watch the video and take a ride with Woodfin CEO Jack Woodfin and the folks from the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

While our freight elevator might be a little bit slow and old-fashioned, our services are anything but. So, if you’re looking to quickly elevate your comfort into the 21st century, talk to Your Home Team about our state-of-the-art home automation system. With Woodfin home automation, you’ll be able to adjust your thermostat, unlock your doors and turn on your lights, all with your smartphone, and all in the time it takes our old elevator to travel one floor. Now that’s convenient. To find out more, call or contact Your Home Team today.
